Citicuris-P by Biocuris is an advanced neuroprotective and cognitive-enhancing formulation combining Citicoline and Piracetam Tablets, developed under the trusted brand promise — “Quality with Integrity” and the Mindshift by Biocuris initiative. This dual-action nootropic (cognitive enhancer) is specifically designed for the management of neurological disorders associated with cognitive impairment, memory loss, decreased concentration, and brain function decline following stroke, traumatic brain injury, or degenerative conditions.
Citicoline (CDP-Choline) is a naturally occurring endogenous compound that serves as a critical intermediate in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, a major phospholipid component of all cell membranes, particularly neuronal membranes. Citicoline provides two essential components: choline (for acetylcholine synthesis) and cytidine (which converts to uridine, a precursor for membrane phospholipids).
Dual Neuroprotection – Citicoline repairs membranes; Piracetam enhances blood flow & transmission.
Cognitive Enhancement – Improves memory, attention, learning & concentration.
Stroke Recovery Support – Effective in acute ischaemic stroke & post-stroke rehabilitation.
Myoclonus Treatment – Piracetam is first-line for cortical myoclonus (muscle jerks).
Synergistic Action – Membrane repair + fluidity + neurotransmission for comprehensive brain health.
1. What is Citicuris-P used for?
It is used for cognitive impairment following stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia (vascular), Alzheimer’s disease, myoclonus, vertigo, and age-related memory decline. It enhances brain function and protects nerve cells.
2. How long does it take to show results?
Acute stroke recovery benefits may be seen within 2–4 weeks. For chronic cognitive decline, improvement in memory and concentration may take 4–8 weeks of regular use. Individual responses vary.
3. What are the common side effects?
Common side effects include mild gastrointestinal upset (nausea, diarrhoea), headache, nervousness, or agitation. Piracetam may cause weight gain. Both are generally well tolerated.
4. Can I take Citicuris-P with other brain medicines?
Yes, it is often combined with anti-dementia drugs (donepezil, rivastigmine, memantine) or antidepressants. However, inform your doctor if you take blood thinners (warfarin), as piracetam has mild antiplatelet effects.
5. Is it safe for long-term use?
Yes, both citicoline and piracetam are safe for long-term use under medical supervision. Regular follow-ups are recommended to monitor cognitive progress and adjust dosing. Dose reduction is needed in severe kidney disease.
